As seen in this picture, the newly acquired van is currently at Frenchmans Bay docks after arrival from france after being bought by the french from the USA. It is an Ex American Railroad Box Car fitted with English Bogies. Once delivered to the Railway, it will be used on our Family Fun Day events over the latter half of the year.
After just under a year running in BR black 47676 is returning to service in September as S&DJR 24.
Also, once the WSR's terrier 32662 has finished it's overhaul into southern green as 2662, we will be taking Stepney to their Terrier Gala with W2, Picadilly, W12, and 2662 all lined up for the event.
After a long three month trial, the DVR Charter services are over. This has meant that the WSR's MK4 stock has been returned, and we have had 73108 Burdock, 47646 (of which sustained damage en-route to York Advance) and the brakevan have been returned. Also, as a substitute for the WSR's Patriot class, Mr Judge has agreed to loan us their Ivatt 2MT 41212 for our gala's and the WSR's two coach Suburban coaches until the End of August.
